Breslavia’s exclusive product and probably an only repro of this item on a market – WW2 Italian Regio Esercito military issue underwear shorts copied from an original example from my own collection (photos will be added soon!)
This piece was not only a standard military issue underwear worn by the Italian soldiers under the trousers, but it can also be commonly seen on a period photos to be worn as shorts during the hot weather time (well-known khaki shorts were the part of the tropical uniform, so they were not issued to the units which haven’t received this kind of clothing).
Breslavia’s repro is a faitful copy of the original example – literally every seam and it’s pattern was copied from the original. The used non-whitened, natural cotton fabric is also perfectly matching with the thickness, weight, weave and feeling. The small tightening strap on the back of the underwear allows the user to tighten the waist for even 10 cm, helping to keep them in a correct place even during extensive movement. The overall construction is truly durable enough to be worn not only under the trousers, but also as the shorts.
WARNING!!! Exactly as in the mint original, the whole fly is not secured with any buttons on it’s length, except the top two button. If you want to wear them as the shorts, be aware of the risk of exposition the private parts… Oh you know what I mean. Breslavia won’t take any responsibility for that, you have been warned!
VERY IMPORTANT: There is NO STOCK of the underwear and there will never be. All of the items are made on order, so there will be obviously some awaiting time – shorter or longer, but there will be for sure. The underwear are tailored by the professional tailor, so they are not in the same awaiting queue like rest of the Breslavia’s items.
